ASOFAP Is a meeting place for the sector's businessmen and experts. The initiative has been promoted by a group of the sector's leading businesses, wich are also the promoters of the Swimming Pool Show that is celebrated at the Montjuïc fairgrounds, in Barcelona.

ASOFAP aspires, among other objectives, to defend the economic and commercial interest of its affiliates; stimulate research, development, and quality; obtain a higher professionalization of the sector; and serve as an intermediary with public administrations.

In this respect, ASOFAP intends to maintain close relations with Autonomous Departments and Ministries, as well as national and international associations, institutions and organizations.

Another of the priorities this association has set for itself is that of promoting and encouraging exports of products, equipment and installations of its members, through the publication of catalogues and its presence at fairs.

To reach these objectives and make its work truly more effectuve and representative, ASOFAP is now initiating a campaign to attract affiliates among the businesses of the sector.

The swimming pool sector is enjoying significant growth in all of Europe, both with respect to the construction and installation of new swimming pools as well as the market for accessories and chemical products for swimming pool cleaning and maintenance.
